This is a quiet home nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac with beautiful mountain views. The house has been fully renovated with the top amenities including granite countertops, stainless appliances, hardwood floors, new windows and doors throughout, update insulation and a propane heat and hot water system. There's a ping pong table, wet bar and fire place in the lower level, perfect for hosting family, friend and group get togethers. There's also a fireplace in the main common area.

The space

There is a large vaulted open space with massive windows and a wood burning fireplace. There’s a game room on the lower level with a ping pong table and board games. The main living level has an open floor plan connecting the kitchen living and dining room. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, all of which have been renovated with tile flooring, new vanities, tubs/ showers, and all new fixtures.

The Killington Ski Report is 3.4 miles away or about a 5-minute drive up the mountain.

Beautiful private home tucked into the trees! On the access road to the mountain super close to lifts and restaurants! Thomas was a great host quick to respond! Very much enjoyed our stay hope to get back there in the winter for some winter sports!

The neighborhood

Tom’s place is located in Killington, Vermont in the United States. Killington is known as the beast of the east for a reason. It’s the largest ski resort on the east coast and boast the most comprehensive snow making infrastructure. The night life can be beat with the Pickle Barrel, Wobbly Barn, Jax, among others. There’s a great spectrum of restaurants and café’s in town, several of which are walking distance to the house.

Getting around

Generally people drive at the ski resort. However, many of the restaurant and bars offer free service shuttles. Taxis, Ubers, and Lyft are common now. There is also a shuttle bus that runs up the access road and a stop near the head of the road.

Must climb stairs - Two bedrooms upstairs, one in the lower level.

Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $800

Pets are not allowed on the furniture (beds, couch, or chairs). No smoking in house. Shoes must be taken off in entry hall, please do not go in house with shoes. The lower level fireplace is blocked and cannot be used. Crack the window next to the stair landing when running the fireplace on the upper level (the insulation is so tight the chimney will draw smoky air down the lower level chimney and fill the house with smoke). Do not use washing machine. Dryer is ok.
